Deleted files accidentally on Mac? How to: iCloud Data recovery and backup
Since the beginning of the computer era, we are facing data loss problems. We have advanced with so many data security technologies, bigger and better storage drives and advanced backup techniques; we still lose files.
From a long time, the major reason for losing files has been accidentally deleting or emptying the trash folder, especially in Mac devices. But thanks to Apple’s two great features “The time machine” and “iCloud”. You can recover any deleted files and folders from these two applications if correctly configured.
So, what is iCloud?
ICloud comes pre-installed in Mac devices as all other basic applications such as notes or BootCamp. The service gives you 5 GB of free cloud storage which can then be upgraded to more space as required. Of course, in today’s world, 5 GB is not enough in comparison of our basic files and folders needs.
Also, you can always access your iCloud files from any other devices online.
Data Recovery from iCloud
You will find one folder named iCloud Drive. All of the files you want to save online can be simply copied in the same folder to backup. If you accidentally delete your files or files gets corrupted, even if your Mac devices fails or stops working you can still access iCloud from another Mac devices and set it up with the same data.
